| Japanese soccer fans clean up after match |
I'm sure photographs of Japanese soccer fans at the World Cup have been spread far and wide through the internet. As seen from the photograph above, the stadium stands are free of litter! While fans from some countries create trouble when their team loses a match, the Japanese went about cleaning up after themselves even after their team lost.
While humanity 'progresses', I can't help but wonder why cleaning up after yourself (which I think is basic courtesy) is now so rare in 'civilised countries' that the Japanese made headlines for what they did...
